Baldwin County VOAD is a humanitarian association of independent voluntary and secular organizations who may be active in all phases of disaster. Its mission is to foster efficient, coordinated service delivery to people affected by disaster, while eliminating unnecessary duplication of effort, through cooperation in the four phases of disaster: preparation, response, recovery and mitigation.

Baldwin County VOAD is a member of the Alabama VOAD and is committed to serving the citizens of Baldwin County, Alabama.

TORNADO RECOVERY in ALABAMA CONTINUES

In the aftermath of the devastating tornadoes that ripped through Alabama on April 27, 2011, many people in our area and other areas around the country who were not affected, want to help with recovery efforts.

Baldwin County VOAD is comprised of several local chapters and service facilities, representing national organizations already working to help our neighbors.  In addition, many of our local churches are also working on relief efforts.  If you would like to help, follow this link to our Member Organizations Page and contact one of our local agencies.

Information on recovery efforts is also available from the Governor’s Faith-Based and Community Initiatives.  To access that webpage click here or go to www.servealabama.gov
