The 2010 Atlantic Hurricane Season has begun.  As of June 1, 2010, expert forecasters are calling for an above average hurricane season.  They predict between eight to fourteen hurricanes will form.  Of those, scientist predict that three to seven of those hurricanes will be major storms  A major hurricane is a Category Three or higher – meaning they will have sustained winds of at least 111 miles per hour.
