Baldwin County VOAD is not a competing or exclusionary organization. Baldwin County VOAD is intended to be a network for organizations active in disaster. Each Baldwin County VOAD member organization will maintain its own identity and independence while closely collaborating with other Baldwin County VOAD member organizations, interfaiths, and local, state, or federal authorities. American Red CrossSince 1918, the Alabama Gulf Coast Chapter has been upholding the American Red Cross mission of providing relief to victims of disaster and helping people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies in Mobile, Baldwin, Clarke, Monroe, and West Escambia Counties. The Christian Service CenterThe Christian Service Center is the organized expression of the Pleasure Island Ministerial Association's social welfare concerns for the people living in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. This concern is expressed through the provision of direct and indirect services to assist in meeting the needs of the population without regard to race, creed, nationality or gender. 317 Dolphin Avenue Church on the Eastern Shore Church on the Eastern Shore is committed to loving and caring for the people of Baldwin County. We currently provide low cost medical, dental, and counseling services to our community through the ministry of our Hope Center. In the event of an emergency, we will mobilize our volunteers to help meet the challenges of response and recovery by the people along the Gulf Coast.
